Welcome

Ready to stop spending energy treading water and making little to no progress?

Are you tired of maintaining life, staying busy, functional, and responsible while quietly feeling disconnected, depleted, or unfulfilled?

At some point, did life stop feeling intentional and start feeling like you’re floating down a river with no clear destination?

Or maybe you can see where you’re headed, and you know it’s no longer where you want to go.

Swimming with Sage exists for people who are done being carried by the current and ready to choose how they move through the water of life.

When You’re Treading Water

Treading water doesn’t always look dramatic.

It often looks like:

  • Working hard but feeling chronically tired or unfulfilled

  • Managing stress, anxiety, or burnout without lasting relief

  • Living with chronic illness or persistent symptoms while holding everything together

  • Feeling disconnected from your body, values, or sense of direction

  • Knowing something needs to change, but not knowing where to start

You may not be drowning.
But you’re expending a lot of energy just to stay in place.

Over time, this state affects not just motivation but sleep, mood, focus, relationships, and physical health.

The River of Life

Life keeps moving whether you’re ready or not.

Responsibilities, relationships, health challenges, habits, expectations, and past choices all create a current. Without clarity and intention, it’s easy to let that current decide the direction for you.

When stress becomes chronic, and self-care becomes reactive instead of intentional, people often lose touch with their values, their agency, and their sense of purpose.

Not because they failed.
But because no one taught them how to navigate the river with their body, mind, and spirit working together.

What Swimming with Sage Is

Swimming with Sage is a grounded, integrative coaching approach that blends:

  • Transformative life coaching

  • Lifestyle Medicine principles

  • Mind-body awareness

  • Values-based decision-making

Together, we look at your life as a whole:

  • Physical health and daily rhythms (sleep, movement, nourishment, energy)

  • Mental and emotional patterns (stress, anxiety, burnout, self-talk)

  • Nervous system regulation and resilience

  • Meaning, values, and direction

This work helps you:

  • Understand your current reality without judgment

  • Identify what’s keeping you stuck or expending unnecessary energy

  • Clarify what matters now, not who you used to be

  • Build sustainable habits that support clarity, calm, and momentum

  • Learn how to respond intentionally instead of constantly reacting

This is not about fighting the river or swimming upstream forever.

It’s about learning when to float, when to paddle, and when to change direction entirely, with your health and well-being supporting you instead of working against you.

My Role

I’m Sage, a former psychiatric nurse and now a Transformative Life Coach with a strong foundation in mental health and Lifestyle Medicine principles.

I’ve worked closely with people navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, chronic stress, and major life transitions.

I don’t coach from theory or motivation alone.

I coach from pattern recognition, helping you see how your thoughts, habits, stress responses, and daily choices interact beneath the surface, so you can move forward with clarity and self-trust.

I won’t swim for you.

But I will help you learn how to swim calmly, deliberately, and in a way that supports your long-term mental and physical health.

How This Work Is Structured

  • Coaching is short-term, focused, and intentional

  • Sessions are grounded, direct, and collaborative

  • Work takes place within a clear container of up to 12 sessions

  • Lifestyle habits are explored practically, not rigidly or dogmatically

  • This is not therapy or medical treatment, but it can complement both

The goal is not dependency.

The goal is to help you regain confidence in your ability to regulate, decide, and navigate your life in a way that feels aligned, sustainable, and intentional.
