Welcome

Most people don’t feel fully in control in the direction their life is moving.

They feel like they’re treading water.

Busy. Functional. Responsible.

But not moving in any clear direction.

At some point, life stopped feeling intentional and started feeling like a river—strong current, unclear destination, and just enough effort to keep your head above the surface.

Swimming with Sage exists for people who are tired of being carried by the current and want to choose how they move through the water.

When You’re Treading Water

Treading water doesn’t always look dramatic.

It can look like:

  • Working hard but feeling unfulfilled

  • Managing stress, anxiety, or burnout without relief

  • Living with chronic illness while trying to keep everything together

  • Knowing something needs to change, but not knowing what

You may not be drowning. But you’re not swimming where you want to go.

The River of Life

Life keeps moving—whether you’re ready or not.

Responsibilities, relationships, health challenges, expectations, and past choices all create a current. Without clarity and intention, it’s easy to let that current decide the direction for you.

Over time, people lose sight of their values, their agency, and their sense of purpose.

Not because they failed—but because no one taught them how to navigate.

What Swimming with Sage Is

Swimming with Sage is a grounded, short-term life coaching approach that helps you:

  • Understand your current reality across physical, mental, and spiritual health

  • Identify what’s keeping you stuck in place

  • Clarify what matters to you now—not who you used to be

  • Learn how to move intentionally instead of reacting to the current

This work is not about fighting the river or swimming upstream forever.

It’s about learning when to float, when to paddle, and when to change direction entirely.

My Role

I’m Sage—a former psychiatric nurse and life alignment coach.

I’ve worked closely with people experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, and major life transitions.

I don’t coach from theory.

I coach from pattern recognition—helping you see what’s happening beneath the surface so you can move forward with clarity.

I won’t swim for you.

But I will help you learn how to swim—calmly, deliberately, and in a way that fits your life.

How This Work Is Structured

  • Coaching is short-term and intentional

  • Sessions are grounded, direct, and collaborative

  • I work within a clear container of up to 10 sessions

This is not therapy or medical treatment, but it can complement both when appropriate.

The goal is not dependency.

The goal is confidence in your ability to navigate on your own.
